How to use Lysol Laundry Sanitizer

How and where to use Lysol Laundry Sanitizer to kill 99.9% of germs. Sheets, clothes and towels can pick up bacteria and can spread to other items in your Laundry, even in the machine. Detergent alone does not always kill bacteria. To kill bacteria, use Lysol Laundry Sanitizer in the fabric softener compartment or pour directly into the rinse cycle. Use two caps filled to the correct line for your machine. To disinfect, pre-soak with laundry sanitizer. Use 2 capfuls in 1 gallon of cold water. Allow clothing to soak for 15 minutes. Lysol Laundry Sanitizer contains 0% bleach and can be used on both white and color clothing. It can be used on most washable fabrics, including your towels, bed sheets, gym clothes, baby clothes, and delicates. Lysol, what it takes to protect.

Using Laundry Sanitizer during Machine Wash

Measurement of Laundry sanitizer doses. For standard machines the dosing cup is filled to line 1 and 2 capfuls are required. For HE machines the dosing cup is filled to line 2 and 2 capfuls are required.

Step 1: Dosing

For standard machines: Fill 2 capfuls to line 1 of the dosing cup. For HE machines: Fill 2 capfuls to line 2 of the dosing cup.

Step 2: Pour into Machine

Add two capfuls to the fabric softener compartment at the start of laundry cycle. If machine does not have a fabric softener dispenser, wait until rinse cycle and add directly to drum of machine.

Step 3: Laundry is Sanitized in Rinse Cycle

Leave in rinse cycle for 16 minutes. Clothes come out sanitized killing 99.9%* of bacteria.
