Official Rules

THE FOLLOWING PROMOTION IS INTENDED FOR VIEWING IN THE UNITED STATES ONLY AND SHALL ONLY BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO UNITED STATES LAW. DO NOT PROCEED IF YOU ARE NOT LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES. Important: Please read these rules before entering the sweepstakes. By clicking on the "Submit" button on the entry form, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and represent that you satisfy all of the eligibility requirements.
No Purchase Necessary. Void where prohibited by law. Purchasing a product will not improve your chances of winning.

1. Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes period ("Sweepstakes Period") is from 12:01 AM Eastern Standard Time on November 1st, 2009, through 12:01 AM Eastern Standard Time March 20th, 2010 at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time.

2. Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States, excluding Puerto Rico, age 18 or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives and their immediate families or members of household of Reckitt Benckiser Inc, E-centives, Inc., their parent companies; subsidiaries; advertising; design; web design; web hosting; publicity agencies; law firms; fulfillment companies and anyone connected with the production and distribution of this Sweepstakes are not eligible to enter or be awarded a prize. An eligible entrant must enter via the online method as described. Incomplete entries are void. Limit one (1) entry per person/household/computer/week. Online entrants must complete all required elements of the entry form in order to be eligible. Online entrant must be the registered subscriber of the e-mail account by which the entry is made. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account is registered.

3. How to Enter: Complete all required elements of the online sweepstakes entry form provided on the http://www.lysol.com website and click submit to enter the sweepstakes. By entering the Sweepstakes, you consent to terms of the contest and our Privacy Policy located at www.lysol.com. Sweepstakes entries are limited to one entry per person, e-mail address and/or household, per week.  Enter Sweepstakes once every week for a chance to win a First Prize.  First Prize Winners will be randomly selected from all the Sweepstakes entries received for each week. 

All entries into the Sweepstakes every week will also qualify you for the Grand Prize Sweepstakes drawing.  Enter Sweepstakes once every week to earn additional entries into the Grand Prize Sweepstakes drawing. One Grand Prize Winner will be randomly selected from all Sweepstakes entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The Sweepstakes period ("Sweepstakes Period") is from 12:01 AM Eastern Standard Time on November 1st, 2009, through 12:01 AM Eastern Standard Time March 20th, 2010 at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time.

4. Winner Selections
Winner Selection for First Prize Winners: Twenty (20) First Prize winners will each receive a $50 gift card and a prize pack of LYSOL® products.  First Prize Winners will be randomly selected once every week following the chart below.

Winner selections will be conducted by an independent judging organization whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this promotion and will conduct winners' selection and verification.  Non-winning entries entered each week will not roll over into subsequent weekly drawings.

Winner Selection for Grand Prize Winner: One (1) Sweepstakes Grand Prize winner will receive a $1,000 gift check.  Grand Prize Sweepstakes winner will be randomly selected at the end of the promotional period from all the Sweepstakes entries received during the promotional period, between12:01 AM ET November 1, 2009 and 11:59 PM ET March 20, 2010.

Winner selections will be conducted by an independent judging organization whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this promotion and will conduct winners' selection and verification.  The potential Grand Prize Winner will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within 14 days of notification or prize will be awarded to alternate winner.  

5. Prizes:  One (1) Grand Prize of $1,000 gift check.  Twenty (20) secondary prizes of a $50 gift card and prize pack of Lysol products.  Total ARV of all Prizes is $2,558.  Limit one prize per household.  All income taxes are the responsibility of the winner and are not reflected in the value of the prize awarded. Prize is non-transferable and no substitutions or exchanges will be allowed except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries received. Winners should follow prize redemption procedures stated in prize notification.

6. General: SWEEPSTAKES SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS. By participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Participants are responsible for all costs or charges involved in accessing the World Wide Web and warrant that the cost of accessing the Internet, if any, is part of a larger agreement with an Internet Service Provider or some other means, and that the cost of this access and/or the time spent, if any, to configure their website is not an incremental cost in order to participate in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for those who cannot access the Internet or cannot click-through for any period of time regardless of technical, hardware, software, telephone, Internet, virus contamination, or network problems, for delay, failure or malfunction for any reason. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes if in sponsor's sole determination it believes that the integrity of the Sweepstakes has been, or could be compromised or that the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant from the Sweepstakes if in Sponsor's sole judgment entrant has not complied with these Official Rules. An entrant's entry will also be disqualified, at the sole discretion of Sponsor, if the entrant attempts (i) to enter the Sweepstakes through any means other than as described in these Official Rules; or (ii) provides information that is inaccurate or fraudulent; or (iii) attempts to disrupt the Sweepstakes or circumvent the terms and conditions of these Official Rules. Sponsor and its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, employees and agencies will not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, illegible, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (c) any Sweepstakes disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor, or (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes. Only the number of prizes listed in the Official Rules will be awarded. If prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable or Sponsor cannot contact winner for any reason, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. By entering, all participants release and hold harmless Reckitt Benckiser Inc., E-centives, Inc.; and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, successors and their respective directors, officers, employees, advertising, production and web hosting agencies from any and all liability regarding error or omissions in the administration of the Sweepstakes, the receipt and use of prizes awarded, and, without limiting the generality of the above, from any injury or death while using the prize. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use winner's name, likeness, site address, and site images for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. (Tennessee residents do not have to consent).
